The generic Ajax Callback action includes "Additional data to submit". Add this capability to file upload and file download. I use this, for example, to do: '_action=move&_from=CDS&_to=POC' which allows one function to be used to do, in one case, 15 different actions instead of creating 15 separate, almost identical, Xbasic functions. Add this to the file upload - user defined and file download actions, and this would ...more »
The edit combo lookup builder does not allow you (as far as i can tell) to specify that the Fields to display should be distinct. The result is you can have duplications on the list. Doesn't hurt the selection, but it confuses the user...which one do they pick?
Dialog2 has a property to set an argument. We need to be able to assign that with an expression.
In the future, all session variables will be character, but MySQL, for example, typically uses numeric ids, so I'd like to set, for example, argClientid = val(word(session.AllKeys,1,"|")) where session.AllKeys = client id | divistion id | group id | merchant id | location id

Many users now use SQL with a single connection string. So, on the Web Project Profiles property sheet, add a General option to default to AlphaDAO and that connection string. Now, property sheets for dropdowns and edit combos default to DBF. They should default to AlphaDAO and the named connection string.
Revise the multiselect dropdown so that it allows cascading multiselect. For example, in V11 AlphaSports Customer table, create dropdowns for bill_state_region, bill_city and lastname. Make bill_city and lastname heights of 5 and multiselect. Select MA for bill_state_region. Select Arlington and see Cario and Mederos. Select Bellmont and see Kelley, but if you select both Arlington and Bellmont, you only see last names ...more »
There is a "close all panes" capability in the tabbed UI, but many times it would help to close an individual tabbed UI pane.
In v10, there are a lot of very good help comments in the events and which can be copied for function prototypes. For v11, can these pop up with a button? Seems like I'm always either erasing them to make it clearer to see code and the comments I've added or wanting to get them back to make changes.
In v11, make the marker image that shows on the google map conditional on a value int he field. So, for a real estate app, new listings could be red, pending sales could be blue, open houses in green, and so on.
